Ms. DuPriest holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. She joined the staff of ATA in 2006. She heads the organization's efforts to persuade members of Congress and other policymakers to increase public funding for tinnitus research. Working with a number of Veterans organizations, she coordinates ATA's Action Alliance, a grassroots movement that enlists supporters to help raise money and tinnitus awareness. In concert with ATA's Board of Directors, she conducts outreach to national and global media outlets to raise awareness and garner support for ATA's mission to cure tinnitus. She has authored several articles reflecting ATA's work that have appeared in industry-specific publications including ADVANCE for Audiologists and CEC eContact and has written the tinnitus piece appearing in the The Veterans Independent Budget for the past three years.
