Mr. Wolford has over 18 years of clinical audiology experience and 20+ years of experience conducting research primarily in the area of cochlear implant technology. This clinical and research experience has spanned the entire timeframe of cochlear implant development from single channel devices through currently available devices. He has participated in the development of speech processing strategies, exploring new frontiers for implant candidacy, and methods for improving individual outcomes. He has worked in university medical settings, a private research institute and owned a private audiology practice for several years. Away from work he enjoys the many wonders of the great outdoors ranging from gardening to camping in remote wilderness.
