I have been working with one of our patients for several years now and out of the blue she starts telling me about how she hears someone singing inside her head. At first I looked at her funny because I thought she was kidding around with me, as she sometimes does. She said to me, " I hear a man singing as if he was warming up to get ready to do a show." I was on the edge of my seat and asked her, " Do you hear anything else?" She exclaimed, "Yes! I also hear a choir singing...sometimes usually at night before I get ready for bed." She told me that she has had it for years and has seen her Otolaryngologist and was told nothing could be done.

I was fascinated by this. I know about tinnitus (ringing,chirping,buzzing and clicking) in the ear but have never heard of music. As I am not an expert on this subject, I decided to do some research about what she was experiencing.
