ReSound Debuts New Surround Sound Processor

Bloomington, Minn — ReSound has announced the introduction of Surround Sound by ReSound, a processor delivering dynamic and detailed sound quality in six new hearing instruments.

Surround Sound processing reportedly handles different sound inputs with the same goal as audio mixing in movie and music production — the hearing instruments capture bass and treble independently, and then blend them to create vibrant sound, says the company.

“Patients need amplification, but they also want clarity, richness, and comfort, everywhere and throughout their day,” said Todd Murray, president of GN Hearing Care North America. “ReSound is taking yet another step toward providing natural-sounding hearing with Surround Sound by ReSound.”

The line is available in the new product families of ReSound Live and dot2 by ReSound.
