Promoting your practice using BHI material
Hearing healthcare professionals are permitted to use and reproduce BHI materials to promote their practice, in accordance with these guidelines. We exist to increase traffic into your offices because we believe that is the only way people will improve their quality of life. We encourage hearing healthcare professionals to use all or portions of BHI material, including sample articles, press releases, web articles, research, publications, factoid database and famous quotation database. It is not necessary to seek permission from BHI, provided that your use complies with the following guidelines:
- No republication of photos of BHI celebrities is permitted
- Professionals may use portions of materials (e.g., statistics, quotes, graphs, etc.) provided that the portions are attributed to the Better Hearing Institute
- Professionals may reprint or use entire works (brochures, publications, articles) with their own name or trademark, provided that the material is also attributed to the Better Hearing Institute, such as "Printed by permission of the Better Hearing Institute www.betterhearing.org" or alternatively: "Source: Better Hearing Institute - www.betterhearing.org"
- Materials may not be modified to include new information that is attributed to BHI, if that statement was not part of the original BHI material. It is permissible to create new materials that references some BHI material and new material that is attributed to the author or a third party source.
