Oticon Verit™: Introducing a New, Premium Family of Three Zinc-air Battery Hearing Aid Styles

April 14, 2026

Always ready. Always confident.

Today, Oticon Inc. announced the launch of a new family in its product portfolio: Oticon Verit. This is a new, versatile, premium family of three zinc-air battery hearing aid styles featuring Oticon’s advanced BrainHearing™ technologies: MoreSound Intelligence™ 3.0, MoreSound Amplifier™ 3.0, and MoreSound Optimizer™. For users who prefer the confidence and convenience of disposable batteries, Oticon Verit offers a trusted solution. With Oticon Verit, users can enjoy the full benefits of premium audiology combined with world-class connectivity, empowering them to hear, participate, and connect with the world around them with confidence.

While rechargeable hearing aids continue to grow in popularity, some users still choose devices with disposable batteries. By replacing the battery with a new one, they get instant power. Oticon Verit was developed exactly with these hearing aid users in mind, offering premium audiology and advanced connectivity. The versatile family with three zinc-air styles – miniRITE T, miniBTE T 85, and BTE T 105 – makes it easier than ever for hearing care professionals to match a wide range of listening needs for hearing aid users.

All-day performance with always-on AI

Oticon Verit is powered by Oticon’s latest purpose-built Sirius™ platform, and includes the unique always-on, second-generation AI sound processing technology for outstanding all-day performance. By seamlessly and automatically adapting to the changing listening environment, it ensures that hearing aid users experience the complete sound scene with more clarity, comfort, and precision than ever before. With SuddenSound Stabilizer and Wind & Handling Stabilizer, Oticon Verit also excels at rapidly and optimally balancing sounds that can otherwise be bothersome to hearing aid users. It is also backed with evidence supporting BrainHearing benefits, delivering significantly higher speech clarity in noise compared to Oticon’s previous premium solutions with zinc-air batteries. Test results show that Oticon Verit suppresses unwanted sounds by up to 12 dB in complex listening environments, which is 2 dB more compared to Oticon Real™ and 3 dB more compared to Oticon Opn S™.1 When tested in a noisy environment, Oticon Verit provides users with significantly higher speech clarity,1 helping hearing aid users to be confident in any conversation.

Next-generation connectivity for seamless experiences

Today’s users expect hearing aids to integrate effortlessly with their digital lives. The new Oticon Verit family ensures smooth, intuitive performance with both iOS and Android™ devices.2

  • Made for iPhone: Oticon Verit is also Made for iPhone, allowing hearing aid users to enjoy hands-free calls and direct streaming on iPhone®, iPad®, Apple Vision Pro™, and Mac®.
